MIP Seminar

One major aspect of the Maryland Internship Program is the MIP Seminar. The seminar, conducted once a week, is designed to further integrate hands on experience in State government with a theoretical understanding of the political process. Participants will be expected to record, analyze, interpret, and discuss the political process in light of their personal experience and assigned readings. This will also be an opportunity for participants to discuss their internship with other participants.

Throughout the semester, the MIP Seminar will also host several discussions with prominent officials and other influential players in the political process.
